Case

Corta is a low casegood built around a single mitre: four corners cut at forty-five degrees and joined without a visible seam, so the lacquer runs continuously around the form as if the piece were cast, not assembled. Inside, the case is finished to the same standard as the outside — same number of coats, same hand-levelling — because a drawer opened a thousand times should feel the same as the day it was made. Doors are push-to-open, with no hardware to age or fail.
